Global Transportation Jeopardizes Dock Safety

The Intermodal Association of North America defines Intermodal Shipping as the transfer of products involving multiple modes of transportation – truck, railroad or ocean carrier.
 
This method of shipping combines the best abilities of different transportation methods to deliver service, savings, and solutions.¹  It’s growing faster than any other mode of transportation and is projected to increase at twice the rate of truck movements over the next decade.
