TYPES OF POSITIONS
Information Technology
Rite-Hite’s Information Technology department consists of four different areas of focus: Business Analysis, Technical Service, HelpDesk Services, and Programming. Each area is vital to the overall success of Rite-Hite’s information technology services. Employees find that each discipline is keenly focused on specific tasks and project oriented work. We are always interested in candidates with some experience in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software development platform and/or C++ programming language.
Engineering
Corporate engineering employees within the Rite-Hite organization have several different options based on the needs of our specific product companies. Rite-Hite Doors, Rite-Hite Aftermarket, Rite-Hite Products, Rite-Hite Environmental Enclosures and DuctSox all have engineering positions that include associate, design, industrial, manufacturing, and product development. Each product company has specific needs such as research & development, project management, industrial and manufacturing processes, and design work. Rite-Hite looks for engineer candidates who have prior experience in the mechanical, industrial, and/or electrical fields.
Sales Support
Rite-Hite has many different types of sales support positions which include customer service, application analysts, order administration, and logistics. Our dedicated and customer-focused team helps provide our sales people, independent sales people, and our customers the best support possible while they are out in the field. Customer service and order administration is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate processing of all submitted equipment and parts orders. Application analysts are responsible for providing sales people and customer’s any pre-sales assistance and post survey review.
Human Resources
Rite-Hite’s human resources staff concentrates on recruiting, retention, training, benefits, compensation, and safety. The human resource staff is responsible for establishing pay; developing and maintaining a strong benefits plan, staffing open positions on a local, national, and international level, providing training for new employees, and putting together safety plans for our manufacturing plants and service business. Applicants with demonstrated experience in any of the above human resources fields are what we seek.
Marketing
Rite-Hite has an active, experienced marketing team that provides the best marketing tools and applications for our salespeople to help them in the field. The marketing specialists and product managers are dedicated to specific Rite-Hite companies, but also work together as a team to ensure the best representation for Rite-Hite as a whole.
Marketing specialists put together competitive comparisons for use by sales, conduct market research on products and pricing, keep the website up-to-date, execute advertising campaigns, and give overall marketing support. Product managers assist in the development of marketing strategies for core products. Candidates interested in a marketing position should be able to demonstrate experience in traditional marketing methods, current digital media disciplines, and have solid communication skills.
Service Technician
Rite-Hite has offices around the world staffed by the highly skilled service personnel. Our Technicians install equipment, perform preventative maintenance and repairs, and provide technical advice to customers and sales personnel. Service Technicians for Rite-Hite receive thorough training, both in the field and at our Technical Training Center. We hire both experienced and entry level service personnel, who are able to progress through a series of technical proficiency grades. We have Technicians who have moved into sales, engineering, and even a Vice President role. Rite-Hite is a “promote from within” company that takes an active interest in furthering YOUR career.

Service Technicians need to have good driving records and be able to work outdoors, on ladders, enjoying work that can at times be physically demanding. We look for strong mechanical trouble shooting experience, solid electrical skills, and should be able to weld. Most of all, every Rite-Hite Service Technician must have a “can do!” attitude, a drive to fix problems for customers, and be good at working with a diverse groups of customers and coworkers.
EXPERIENCED SALES POSITIONS
Rite-Hite Sales Professionals work within protected territories to represent our various lines of products and services. Our customer base includes anyone with a warehouse, with emphasis on Fortune 500 manufacturers and distribution centers. This is an outside sales position which will focus on growing our service business, with responsibility for growing existing accounts, prospecting and securing new customers.
We provide our Sales Force with everything needed for success. This includes some of the leading product lines in the industry, award-winning marketing, excellent initial and ongoing training, sales tools, laptop, smart phone and car allowance, tolls and parking.

Successful candidates will combine a university degree with a minimum of 3 years successful outside sales experience in an industrial or commercial setting, preferably with experience in commercial services or industrial products. In addition, our Sales Representatives must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, be skilled at building productive business relationships and have a good mechanical aptitude. Sales Representatives must have knowledge of their territory and its customer base, be able to develop solid territory business plans, and be able to effectively cover their territories on a daily basis.
PROFESSIONAL SALES PROGRAM (Entry Level)
Rite-Hite is looking for entry level graduates to take part in our entry level sales training program. Located in Milwaukee, WI (USA) the program prepares the candidate to become full time sales representatives in a protected territory following successful completion of the program.
Candidates selected for the program will receive 3 months of in-depth learning at our world headquarters in Milwaukee, WI (USA) consisting of:
- classroom training on our products, competitors, and customers sales skills, presentations, demos, and strategies
- territory and account management skills
- 2 months of in-the-field training for hands on experience with the product plus side-by-side time with veteran sales professionals, the district sales manager, and others.
